Mandan Rodeo Days 4th of July Road Race
A Tradition That Runs Through the Heart of Mandan Presented by Bismarck Magazine and Visit Mandan Kick off your Independence Day in Mandan, North Dakota, with a fun, family-friendly tradition—the Mandan Rodeo Days 4th of July Road Race! This noncompetitive 5K Run/Walk is the only race that uses the entire length of Mandan’s historic Main Street—offering a truly unique course and experience. Starting at the intersection of 3rd Ave NW and West Main Street, participants run west to 10th Ave NW before turning around and heading east all the way to just before Burger King, then returning to the Mandan Depot finish line. Thousands of parade-goers line the route, creating an energizing atmosphere filled with cheers and celebration. More than just a race, this long-standing event celebrates community, patriotism, and purpose. Each year, $10 from every registration is donated to the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation, with nearly $25,000 raised to date. Additional funds support Mandan Progress Organization and Visit Mandan —making every step meaningful. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just out for fun, the course’s flat terrain offers the potential for fast times, memorable moments, and a perfect start to your 4th of July festivities. |

The 45th annual Mandan Rodeo Days 4th of July Road Race is a longest running tradition and is a great way to kickoff Independence Day celebration in Mandan, North Dakota.
Over the decades the race has grown to become a fun activity for family and friends celebrating Independence Day. This is one of the reasons why Mandan Road Races and the Schanandore Family wants to keep this tradition going. Our Family enjoys hosting the run in Mandan and we understand the value it has to this community. We hope you will join us at this great event on Main Street in historic Mandan.

The mission of the Bismarck Cancer Center is to make locally available, the highest quality, state-of-the-art radiation therapy services to persons with cancer within the Bismarck service area. Such services shall be delivered, insofar as possible, without regard to reimbursement, and always in a supportive, compassionate, and caring manner, and will include needed wrap-around services to both patients and their families, educational services, prevention and early detection initiatives, and survivorship programs.
